Support Hours
Configure your manned support hours to be displayed on your helpdesk pages in the client area.
The support hours are shown as a primary sidebar on the Tickets, Submit Ticket and View Ticket pages of the WHMCS client area.
Set Up
From the PowerTools dashboard click on the Support Hours tile:
Ensure the Tool is switched on and click Save:
Options
The Support Hours panel has two display options, open times and online/offline:
You can choose to have either or both of these displayed by configuring the below options.
You can also change the online and offline messages. For example, here we have turned off Support Hours and updated the Offline message:
Support Days and Times
You must have a default time period set as your normal support hours and days. If this is not set the side bar will not be displayed.
Create your default by clicking on the Add New Support Times button:
Make sure to set the following options for your Default support hours:
Active: On
Set as Default: On
Date Range: this isn’t used for the default setting but you still need to supply a value. Today’s date is fine.
Set your default Open and Close times for each day. Turn Active off for any days you are not available for support.
When finished, click the Add button.
You can also add any additional helpdesk support times for particular date ranges, e.g Christmas, Easter etc.
All support times are shown on the main screen and can be edited as required.
